Field update
Every supply line has something to lose
dWars v0.6.1 · 26 October 2026
Command Elle and Nesa, read the fog, and keep your army running from one shared Energy Store.
New
- A new command interface brings live battlefield previews, unit details, orders and upgrades together beside the map.
- Elle joins Nesa on the battlefield. Select either hero to give movement orders; Elle travels on the ground while Nesa flies.
- Put supplied buildings to work. Elle's orders add structures, including Turrets, Air Defence, Sensor Towers and Petrol Stations. Placement previews show where you can build.
- Fog of war changes what you can see. Units reveal the ground within their vision, and buildings block sight.
- One Energy Store funds your army. Construction, upgrades, hero skills, replacement units and battery recharge draw from the same reserve.
- Energy travels across the map as coins. Petrol Stations produce deliveries that must reach a base. Take their supply route and you can intercept them.
- Buy upgrades for a unit type across your team. The upgrade panel shows its current level and the next available purchase.
Changed
- Left-click selects; right-click commands. Use
Qfor Nesa,Wfor Elle,1–3for battalions andYfor the supply overlay. - Resupply controls replacement production. Switch it off to stop spending on new units while the rest of your army recharges.
- Read the battlefield at a glance. Drones, Tanks, Rollers, bases and defensive structures have refreshed artwork and animations. Vision and weapon arcs have clearer outlines.
- Damage and Armor now affect combat directly. Armor reduces incoming damage without making a unit immune; direct air-to-ground hits bypass it, but fragments do not.
- Energy readouts use kJ and kW. The header shows stored energy, net income and army strength, with graphs that track changes during battle.
Fixed
- Long movement orders around Wangal Park lake on Burwood Girls no longer fail because the route has too many corners.
- Footpaths in Summer Hill are traversable. Sidewalk connections and rear lanes blocked by building footprints have also been repaired across the maps.
- Building a structure no longer snaps other units back to earlier positions.
- The camera keeps the action clear of the command panel. Levels without starting units open on your base instead of an empty patch of map.
- WebGPU upgrade panels now show live levels and values. Starting units no longer vanish immediately after the loading transition.
- Recharging units spread out instead of piling onto one spot. Supply Bots abandon build targets they cannot complete.
Known issues
- Structure, upgrade and hero-skill prices remain provisional while the new energy economy is tuned.
- Nesa's order panel does not yet show skill prices or distinguish owned skills from unowned ones.
- Older recordings may load without reproducing the original battle exactly, following changes to hero movement and structure placement.
