Field update
The camera stays where you put it
dWars v0.6.103 · 2 November 2026
Four rings that read your energy supply, a camera that holds the ground you choose, and territory that stops flickering cut off.
New
- A COMMAND panel reads your energy supply at a glance. Four rings bottom-left - battalions 1, 2 and 3, and Nesa - each filling violet with the battery its units carry against their full strength. The minimap takes the bottom-right corner.
- A ring turns red when supply falls and green when it climbs, measuring now against one second ago, so a destroyed Tank reads red and a resupply reads green.
- Each disc wears its own battalion's colour, and Nesa's ring shows her live portrait.
- The camera answers to the keyboard.
Qrefocuses Nesa,WASDpans,ZandXzoom, andEframes the whole level then returns you to the view you left. - Hovering a friendly battalion lights a halo outside its silhouette.
- The minimap draws the selected battalion's supply point and supply line.
Changed
- The camera holds the ground you click. Left click open ground and the view stays there while Nesa moves; nothing drags it back until you refocus with
Qor her ring.WASDno longer snaps back after three seconds. - Selecting a battalion focuses the camera on it and shows its orders. Giving the order hands the display back while the camera keeps following; deselecting leaves the camera where it is.
- Heroes, bases and structures keep their authored look in the Command display. They used to flatten into pixel-map dots, and Nesa's model faded out for a circle. Fighting units still drop away.
- The battalion line flares toward the head, reaching twice its supply-point width by the time it meets the battalion.
- Battalion outlines are drawn by hand - a slight wobble on bodies, heads, supply points and routes, rounded-square supply points, sharp outlines at close zoom, and thinner lines at the whole-map fit.
- Warmer light on the map, with the specular highlight off.
- Order keys moved. Battalion orders are

Fixed
- The map looks the same on every machine. Lighting was saved into your display settings and applied over the shipped art direction, so a returning player kept the sun from before 0.6.101 while a fresh browser got the new one. Lighting and battalion outline weight travel with the build now.
- Territory behind a contested supply route no longer flickers cut off. One contested pixel losing the heartbeat for a tick left every pixel behind it reporting itself unsupplied, striping the land in bands. A connected pixel now keeps its supply through up to eight missed beats while a longer route still reaches your base.
Known issues
- Nesa is level play's only hero. Elle is not spawned, selectable or in the command menu, and her building orders have not been redesigned around Nesa yet.
- Nesa's ring shows no cooldown - nothing feeds one yet.
- Structure, upgrade and hero-skill prices remain provisional while the energy economy is tuned.
- Nesa's order panel shows no prices, and an owned skill looks the same as one you have not bought.
- Recordings made before 0.6.103 may not replay exactly, following the supply heartbeat change.
The camera waited where I left it. A small courtesy. I am keeping a list of those too. - Nesa
